Pen is Mightier that the Sword

In having arguments, I would rather use pen than sword in expressing my opinions. It is much safer and all I need to have are strategies in creating an argumentative essay. The main point of an argumentative essay is to prove to others how right your assertion is compared to those of other persons discussing it. Skills in arguing are not easy to acquire, it is not as simple as just having your own opinion and it will succeed. What you need to do is to have logic that will entice people to believe you.
Writing argumentatively is the act of having reasons, forming inductions, drawing conclusions, and applying them to the case in discussion. It also involves “the operation of inferring propositions, not known or admitted as true, from facts or principles known, admitted, or proven to be true. It clearly explains the process of your reasoning from the known or assumed to the unknown. Without doing this you don’t have an argument, you have only an assertion, an essay that is just your unsubstantiated opinion. These are quoted from Practice Based Research, a publication from the University of Technology in Sydney.
Argumentative essays are usually organized in the manner of, first stating your statement of assertion, the significance, how timeless it is and how relevant it can get to number of people. You should also put literature about the phenomenon, read matter about it in order for you to have clear and suitable arguments. You should also make some comparisons and prove how better your argument is compared to other argumentations on the said topic.
Try to avoid minimal errors to make your argument as believable as possible and of course to make it win. Errors would just lead to other authors criticizing your work. You should also be aware of how to make your readers believe in you. Always remember that your argument is always rebuttable, but what you need is a better rebuttal to their rebuttal. Always be prepared and use your mind in making this essay. If you think that you are not capable of defending your article, then therefore try to review your position.
Make sure that your arguments are factual in nature. Do not forget that though only few or lots of people will come to read this, you should clearly defend your side well enough. Just use proper elements in substantiating it and make sure that the elements you are about to use are part of reality and not just of your illusion to make a winning argument.
