How Racing Games Become More and More Realisitic

The term racing game is to describe a genre of computer and video games. Racing games are either in the first or third person perspective. They may be based on anything from real-world racing leagues to entirely fantastical settings, and feature any type of land, air, or sea vehicles.

In general, they can be distributed along a spectrum anywhere between hardcore simulations, and simpler arcade racing games.

In 1974, Grand Trak 10 released by Atari is considered as the the first racing game ever made. In Gran Track 10, the player races against the clock to accumulate points. While challenging, it is not competition racing. True "racing" as we know it was started by the Namco game Pole Position in 1982.

This time the player has AI cars to race against, and time limit to keep pushing the players to go faster. Pole Position is also the first game to be based on a real racing circuit.

By 1997, the typical PC was capable of matching an arcade machine in terms of graphical quality, mainly due to the introduction of first generation 3D accelerators such as 3DFX Voodoo.

The faster CPUs were capable of simulating increasingly realistic physics, car control, and graphics. Colin McRae Rally was introduced in and was a successful semi-simulation of the world of rally driving.

Moreover, in order to achieve the realism demanded by many of today's games, physics simulations have become more complex and accurate.

Although realistic physics simulations are often rewarding for human players to control, they can be frustrating from an AI programmer's perspective.

As these simulations become more complex, the effects of a given input to the system become less clear, and it becomes more difficult to write a simple if then else logic tree to cope with every possible circumstance. Thus, new methods of controlling objects operating under these rules must be developed.

As a result, a lot of the popular racing game franchises have even converted their games over to match this growing trend.

It seemed that people who loved GT racing have been left in the dust. Well never fear because the developers at 10Tacle Studios have released their simulation game: GTR FIA Racing upon the gaming world.

Does the hype they created by saying they have created the most authentic GTR Racing simulation ever. Besides that, there are also some improvement have been made in features of the game. There are a couple of different modes for players to get involved in once they load up the game.

The modes you can play in are: Arcade, Semi Pro, and Simulation. In the arcade mode, players will be able to get down and dirty and start playing the game. This is a great way to start learning the basis mechanics of the game.

There are several different options to choose from when you first start such as what difficulty you want to play in, and the difficulty levels really change the way the game is played, meaning the AI is not the only thing improved between each level.

In conclusion, racing game has become more and more realistic compared to the previous time. This is because in order to fulfill the demand of gamer all around the world, game company has to make sure that their games have to be developed from time to time.
