Safely Managing Eczema From the Inside
Eczema in its most common form is known as atopic dermatitis, it is also the most severe. Genetics are believed to play a part, if you have it, someone else in your family probably does too. It's fairly common, 1 in 10 people are like to experience it in their lifetime. Eczema sufferers may also be allergic to dairy products, certain types of fish, soy, and wheat. It may also be caused or irritated by certain prescription medications.
Eczema is commonly found on the elbows, wrists, backs of the knees, ankles and can also appear on the upper chest, the neck and the face. It can affect children, and most dis-heartening, very young children. It can be difficult to diagnose as it can be very similar to other common skin conditions and allergies. The skin becomes itchy, and hot. When scratched it will become red and can blister and may lead to secondary infection.
Eczema can be difficult to treat and stubborn to get rid of, often resulting in use of topical steroids, antibiotics, and in severe cases immunosuppressants may be prescribed, the more harsh the drugs prescribed, the more danger of negative side effects and contraindications and complications. There are theories that the body's immune system may play a part in eczema, that there is more going on than just on the surface, that the immune system may be in a hyperactive state.
I am always in favor of safe solutions for health challenges, the mangosteen juice has once again been shown to be very, very effective against eczema, as well as other skin disorders such as seborrhea and psoriasis, the natives of southeast Asia have known this for centuries. Obviously these folks didn't have a whole fruit juice, but rather made a poultice out of the rind or pericarp and applied it topically. This is great news, especially for small children as it is safe. I don't believe in prescription medication unless absolutely necessary, especially in small children. Hippocrates himself said many years ago, "Let Thy Food be Thy Medicine". More and more people are looking for safe and natural solutions to their health challenges. In this day and age there is an icreasing number of companies offering just that.Drinking the juice has worked well for many, however the juice can also be boiled down to a paste like consistency (poultice) and mixed with a topical like Lubriderm, something with good skin penetrating properties and used topically along with consuming the juice orally.
Consult your doctor to make sure you get a correct diagnosis first. Safely managing eczema from the inside is absolutely available.
